Job title: Kitchen Cook

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepares food for patrons daily and upon order

• Showing up for scheduled shift on time
• Clean and disinfect food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
• Clean and prep food for daily operations
• Prepare orders as requested from waitress/waiter order requests
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Prepare specialty menu items following specific methods to ensure consistency and great taste
• Pre-cook select items to prepare for later use
• Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, smokers, deep fryer, or oven tops.
• Prepare food to customer specifications from order requests to ensure all orders are served correctly

Education, Experience & Qualifications:

• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with customers
• Reliable Transportation
• Ability to be consistently punctual
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year related work experience
• Ability to work as a team with other colleagues

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly to customers
